Hi! I’m Haokun Zhao, a second-year M.S. student at UC San Diego, supervised by Prof. Zhuowen Tu. Prior to this, I received my B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jicong Fan. I also collaborated with Prof. Chenyu You from Stony Brook University.
My research interests broadly lie in LLMs, agents, and ML for health. I am particularly interested in developing intelligent, interpretable, and efficient AI systems for real-world scientific discovery.

Medical Test-free Disease Detection Based on Big Data

- Leverage structured knowledge in EHR to enable broad-spectrum disease detection for each patient, requiring little to no direct medical testing.
